Can I get orthodontic treatment in Korea while living abroad?
Yes. Clear aligner stages are manufactured in advance from a digital plan, so monthly visits are not required. Check-ups are scheduled around your trips to Korea, and the clinic is registered with the Ministry of Health & Welfare for treating international patients. → How overseas treatment works
How much does orthodontic treatment cost in Seoul?
Orthodontics is a non-covered (private) treatment in Korea and fees depend on the appliance type and case complexity. When comparing quotes, check what is included: diagnosis and records, the appliance, monthly adjustment fees, mini-screws if needed, and retainers. We itemise all of these after diagnosis, and our non-covered fee schedule is posted in the clinic.
Can an underbite be corrected without jaw surgery?
Not every underbite needs surgery. When the cause is the jaw-joint position or the bite rather than the bone itself, non-surgical correction can be attempted. Cephalometric analysis distinguishes the two. → Non-surgical skeletal orthodontics
How long does treatment take?
Partial corrections may take several months; comprehensive treatment generally takes one to two and a half years. Skeletal cases vary more, so we give an individual estimate after diagnosis.
Will I need retainers afterwards?
Yes. Teeth tend to drift back throughout life, so long-term retainer wear — mostly at night once stable — is usually recommended. We explain the retention plan before treatment starts.
Do you speak English at the clinic?
Consultations are conducted in Korean. If you do not speak Korean, we recommend visiting with a Korean-speaking companion, or contacting the KakaoTalk channel "강남워싱턴치과" in advance so we can prepare for your visit.
How do I book an appointment?
Call +82-2-552-3000 or message the KakaoTalk channel "강남워싱턴치과". First visits include full diagnostic records (X-rays and intraoral scan), so booking ahead is recommended.
Where is the clinic and when is it open?
